Story by Molly Mack

If grease and satisfaction are on your food agenda, My Pie Pizzeria is the place to go. Found near the corner of Clark and Fullerton, My Pie is a place that cannot be missed.

The store’s front sticks out amongst the Subways and Indian restaurants surrounding it.

The rustic wood doors with the Greek symbol for ‘pi’ as door handles announces the easy-going and quirky theme found within. Upon entering the business one can’t help but wonder if they are still in Chicago. There is a North Woods feel, made apparent by the log cabin interior.

Once you’re seated, your nose is inundated with a garlicy goodness. The menu is filled with your everyday pizzas, along with providing numerous not so common add-ons. I have to suggest ordering the My Pie garlic bread as an appetizer. The crispy cheese that tops the loaf of garlic bread leaves your palate satisfied after even the first bite.

When deciding upon what pizza to order, you can’t go wrong. The thin crust is just as marvelous as the deep dish. Each one covered with the right amount of sauce and cheese. The endless supply of ingredients will leave you wanting to come back for more, if the garlic bread doesn’t do the trick.

If you’re looking to keep the caloric and fat intake at a minimum, there is a salad bar full of everything one could ever want. Along with the salad bar, they have salads to order and sandwiches that look marvelous. But if you’re already stepping foot inside My Pie, I strongly suggest throwing your diet to the wayside for just one meal.

Along with its Lincoln Park location, My Pie can be found in Bucktown. If you’re looking to have gluttony delivered to your door just order online.
