Donald Trump’s surprise victory left many Chicagoans—as well as the rest of the nation—shocked. There was a palpable somber tone on the red line, and everyone on the street kept their eyes down.

However disappointed voters are, they must accept the results. With President Obama and Hillary Clinton trying damage control and encouraging a peaceful passage of power, how are everyday citizens dealing with the news?
