Stories written by reporteraAngelica Sanchez is a current undergraduate student at Columbia College Chicago, Majoring in Broadcast journalism. She is a contributing writer to The Columbia Chronicle and the website publication Chicago Talks. She received her A.A in Arts from Morton College.
Her journalism career started at her high school student publication when she was 16 and than went on to be hired as a summer intern at Suburban life publications. Sanchez later went on to take over as the Editor-In-Chief of her community college student news paper, The Morton Collegian. She received the student leadership award in 2012 from the college for her work and revival of the publication on campus. Sanchez describes herself as a journalism junkie at heart.
