Gay Athletes No Longer Sidelined by Media

American TV shows and movies like “Glee,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Geography Club” and “Teen Wolf”are showing gay athletes as major characters. Census data reported nearly eight million U.S. adults identify as gay, lesbian or bisexual, and 19 million U.S. adults have engaged in a gay relationship. These results are reflected in our media.
