“If JFK was assassinated today, how would the news look?” was a question for many journalists and news readers as the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination approached. Columbia College Chicago Journalism Department teamed up with Chicago’s Museum of Broadcast Communications to explore this question.

Here’s how it looked as reporters watched and tweeted during a re-broadcast of NBC’s original coverage from November 22, 1963.
