I had abstained from taking pictures here since it was first defaced a few months ago, but I changed my mind and decided to highlight the sub par work of those who tried to challenge it.
If you’re going to tag over one of the biggest street artists in the world (even if you don’t think he’s the best) you had better bring a strong statement. That can’t be said of this poorly drawn worm, fuzzy facebook icon, and dripping initials.
Much of the rest of the Chicago street art community has pieces posted across the street, looking on, paying homage almost. As a result, their pieces are still getting a lot of exposure and are probably more well respected.
So it’s a shame, but here’s their garbage on display.
