The Lakefront Outlook, a community paper covering Bronzeville, took a close look at Ald. Dorothy Tillman (3rd) and the funding, construction and operation of the Harold Washington Community Center. The reports brought problems and contradictions about the HWCC to light and won a prestigious award.
The Lakefront Outlook won a George Polk Award on Monday, according to Robert Manor writing in the Chicago Tribune.
