Despite stiff competition and slim odds, four filmmakers from Columbia College Chicago were selected to showcase their work at this year’s Cineyouth International Film Festival.
Nikki Milan Houston, Christopher Rohbreck, Syahirah Mansor and Hannah Schierbeek were among 61 other filmmakers screening last weekend at the Music Box Theatre, selected from a pool of over 400 submissions. These Columbia College filmmakers presented a diverse selection of films, each competing in a different program: Women in Cinema, Experimental and Cinema of Chicago.
