Chicagotalks…looking for stories centered on Chicago

We are looking for stories about Chicago. We need reviews of music, shows, and art you see.

Our news items are just that, written by reporters or citizen journalists, or they are phoned in from the streets.

We would like to publish fiction, poetry, photography, and highlight short video work about Chicago, too.

There are three ways to talk to Chicagotalks. You can send us a story pitch, you can register on the site and then submit a story to our editing queue, or you can call us at 312 436-1820 and leave your story, audio snippet, or idea as a message. Here is my sample post from call:

Teachers, we are interested in collections of work, whether it is stories about a particular beat, or photos of a neighborhood, or something else. Our biggest criteria, is that the work be about Chicago. Contact us if you have questions, but we have lots of room and are looking to add more voices and views to Chicagotalks.org.
