New Microlending Opportunities for Local Businesses

The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) has recently been accepted as a lender by the Chicago Microlending Institute and has been certified to make loans of up to $25,000.

The WBDC is making loans available for new and existing small businesses in Chicago. The loans will be targeted toward businesses operating in low- to moderate income communities.

The WBDC is partnering with other business agencies including Local First Chicago to hold a series of events to explain the new loan program and provide pre-approval consultations to interested businesses.

Interested readers can go to the WBDC website to learn more and register for the event in your neighborhood.
