Fight Hunger with Your Fork and a Slice of Pie at First Slice

First Slice, a community-supported kitchen at 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave. next to the Montrose Brown Line “L” stop, is giving away “Pie Bucks”–a $1 off any of its delicious selection of homemade pie slices–Aug. 27 until 6 p.m.

A portion of the profits from the Pie Cafe directly contributes to First Slices’ outreach, helping to provide meals of wholesome, quality food to those living in need. First Slice presently serves over 600 meals per week by sharing its kitchen table resources.  Find more about First Slice here.
