The first is a free mini-tour of the Loop as part of the City of Chicago’s Bike to Work Week. Everyone will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Buckingham Fountain for a 2 hour, 6 mile mini-tour covering Chicago’s greatest architectural hits in the downtown area. The pace will be relaxed and everyone is required to preregister, sign a waiver onsite and wear a helmet throughout the ride. The mini-tour of the Loop is held in partnership with the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events.
The event is limited to 150 riders and you must pre-register here: http://tinyurl.com/loopbiketour
The night tour of the Loop is a first-ever night tour by Chicago Neighborhood Bike Tours. The goal of this tour will be to see the best of downtown Chicago at night. This tour will focus on the places that offer the most striking night-time displays.
When riding in a group at night, it is important that you can see, and that everyone around you can see you. In addition to a helmet, we ask that everyone has front and rear lights to do this ride.
