by Carlos Ardila
August 6, 2008 – An estimated 35 million immigrants live in the United States, according to figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau. Some studies estimate that 12 million of them are here illegally. Both illegal and legal immigrants comprise 12.4 percent of the entire population of the country, even though they are a fundamental part of the social and economic fabric of this country there are no studies that expose the faces behind the numbers.
