Ariel Schroeder is a sophomore at Columbia College studying Broadcast Journalism. In the Fall 2010 semester, Ariel started in the internship program at WGN Radio News 720. She gained experience and produced a short video to encourage other students to consider interning at WGN.
“I had an amazing time working in the fourth-floor Tribune Tower newsroom,” Schroeder said. “It was a hands-on experience where I even gained opportunities writing my own on-air pieces, as well as editing audio myself!”
