NATO Demonstrators and Police Clash at Sunday Protest

After a peaceful march from Petrillo Bandshell to outside McCormick place Sunday, Anti-NATO protesters gathered at Michigan and Cermak to watch veterans turn in their medals. Most left shortly thereafter, but around 500 remained and were confronted by CPD forces that demanded they disperse.

See video of clashing police and protesters from the evening of the 20th from Chicagotalks.
