State, Local Officials Reluctant To Hand Over College Campus Security Plans To Public

The city's Office of Emergency Management and Communications said in its Freedom of Information Act denial releasing a list of schools that submitted emergency plans may cause an "attack on the institute of higher learning."
The Illinois Board of Higher Education wrote in its FOIA denial campus violence prevention and emergency plans couldn't be released in electronic form, because it only has hard copies running "up to 200 pages."
