Looking for ways to lower your utility bill in the summer, and get rewarded to do it?

The Citizens Utility Board, the only organization in Illinois 100 percent focused on lowering utility rates, is working together with Efficiency 2.0 to offer CUB Energy Saver to Illinois residents. CUB was founded by the state in 1983 to help protect consumers from high utility costs. CUB is proud to continue this mission with CUB Energy Saver.

CUB Energy Saver provides tools that:

Create ways for you to save money while benefiting the planet.

Empower you to engage with your local community to help solve critical energy and environmental issues.

Reward smart decisions with discounts at national and local retailers.

The Energy Saver is a free program that rewards you for lowering your electric bill. You need your ComEd account number to join the program. CUB offers free online tools and energy saving ideas. Every month when you have verified savings on your electric bill you earn two points for every kilowatt hour saved. The points can be redeemed for discounts at popular restaurants and retailers such as Foot Locker and Omaha Steaks.
